module should not be valid ?
(New Zealand)
Hi again,
I've now installed the ActivityEmailer 45.02.02 PA on my 4.9.2 portal, which now also works in Timer Mode, and it appears to be working. I cand press the button to run a report right now and an email is delivered. So that's all looking good.
However, I'm confused by a message.. on the page where the module resides, it says "
The module should not be valid at this moment.
"
What's that trying to tell me?
Regards,
Rob
p.s. I'd like to change the subject of the email it delivers. "Daily Activity Report" isn't going to work because it implies a report about any or all activity on the website. I can't see it in the language files. Is there somewhere else I can change it?

No, it has never been used before because it stuffed my portal every time I tried (as was reported in the other thread)
I have copies of Get List activated on connections09.org.nz, and also on worldstage.org.nz, but Activity Emailer was never activated anywhere... I didn't think it needed to be activated in any case.
It is being used on womengoingglobal.com.au - all of these sites are on the same 4.9.2 portal.
Rob
edit: Hang on... what am I talking about - Connections09 and worldstage are on my second 4.9.2 portal, which was a duplicate of the first portal split into two pieces for management purposes. Activity Emailer will still have dll's and files in both portal's bin and desktopmodules folders, but it has never been in operation until now and is only suppposed to be in operation on the site I installed it on yesterday - womengoingglobal. What's it trying to say with that message?

Hi,
What's going on?
I replied to your email twice and again last night. The module finally started showing the activation dialogue after a few days so I went through the activation proccedure, which promply failed to work same as every other time, and so I sent the email back through with the failed activation email attached. Then I sent another through last night. I need this activated - I can't spend a week waiting for activation every time I buy a module off you. This is ridiculous.
I'll trigger the activation again now just in case it does anything.

As you discussed in your email messages, I believe the strnage activation process you experienced is as a result of the SnowCovered store failing to make a form post to our site on the details of your purchase. Normally the sales data creates a license that allows auto activation. In your case there was no license file created. Once you provided us with the request for activation, we were able to activate manually from our system.
Sorry for this experience, this is not the normal process for activation.
