Analytics Module Question - Can I do this?
(United States)
Hi -
I am very impressed with your Google analytics modules. I love how well it displays site activity.
I have the following use case I would like to support, but not sure how. Can you please advise?
My DNN child portal has approximately 10 different sections that are accessed only by users within a specific DNN security role. For example, tabid 1234 is accessed only by users with Security Role 1; tabid 1235 by Security Role 2, etc.
I want to add an Analytics Report module for each security role so that it only displays the activity on the pages applicable to their security role.
I currently use a single Google Tracking ID on all of the pages. So at present I am unable to report by security role through your module.
Can I accomplish this through a unique Google Tracking ID by security role?
Other suggestions?
Thank you in advance.

Our module does not have a lot to do with the tracking aspect. I think you may be able to do this by using google tracking ID's unique for each page.
We have not actually tried this before, so we are not really sure of the result.
The other thing you can do is look at the DNN logging to see what each page is doing in the way of views etc.
