iwebs Register - re-captcha being bypassed
(United States)
Hi,
I have been using your free module for registration with Google reCaptcha and for a while it worked great but for the past few weeks the spam registrations began coming through again. In addition to your module I have disable the default page including the ctl=Register and created a custom registration page . Currently they are constant and have become a major problem again. The DNN verison is 7.1.2 and your module version is 72.7.7.
Have you had any reports of reCaptcha being bypassed? or any other ideas as to how this could be happening? I see no way on the site that someone could register without going through the reg form which is using your module with reCaptcha.
Any insight or suggestions you have would be very appreciated.
The site is sonomalighthouse.com and the registration page is sonomalighthouse.com/enrollment
Thanks,
Josiah

Hi,
We have had reports of Recaptcha being busted. Google have updated to recaptcha V2. that is much better. We have updated our module to support this.
Download the latest version of our module form our site.

Thank you. I just installed the newest version.
It doesn't work for me with the Google ReCaptcha v2 API though since my DNN version is 7.1.2. The v1 API option still shows properly so I will have to stick with that until I can upgrade my DNN instance. At least I am assuming that's why the new API option isn't working. Does that sound right?

You need to issue a new key through the recaptcha website to use V2
