Don't show nordic charset correctly
(Greenland)
I found out, that the nordic charset (ÆÅØæåø) are not shown right in the DNN website, after upload from Word.
The word document has these ÆÅØæåø, but the website have only "dots". This is the same in the build in editor.
And when I try to edit the text in word again, then the ÆÅØæåø is totally wrong in Word.
So for now, I need to edit the text in the build in editor, after uploading the text from Word.
Do you have an idea, where to look for a solution ?

Hi again
This only happens if I edit the text in Word and dnn editor. Then the ÆÅØæåø are not shown right. But as long I only use Word editor, then it's OK.
Do you have a plan to have this fixed ?

We would like you to do something for us.
1. Edit a new page in word. Save and then with a different browser and logged out, view the page. Right click and view source. Then save that as a text file.
2. Then open the same text again in the editor. Save again, then repeat the view source wile logged out, and save as a text file
3. Zip and attach both files here.
What we hope this delivers is two text files with the source code of the page, with the differences of the html source files. We hope then to have a better idea of what is going on.

Hi,
i have been looking in to this request. I am using Beyond Compare, a tool for detecting differences in text files.
Word saves æåøÆÅØ as:
æåøÆÅØ
DNN editor saves æåøÆÅØ as:
æåøÆÅØ
Here are some testing results.
- Initially Word is used, æåøÆÅØ is entered. Publish
- Then view webpage, all displays okay.
- Then edit using the dnn text editor, click update. then view page, all is okay.
- Then edit in word once more, all is displayed fine.
- Publish once more is clicked and all is displayed fine.
I have attempted to replicate your steps and as you can see i am not experiencing the same issues as you. Could you confirm what i am doing is exactly what you are?

Hi
I don't know why, but I get this strange æåøÆÅØ misbehavior.
I start to write a text in Word Editor with æåøÆÅØ. It's ok.
I open the text in core editor, æåøÆÅØ are ok. Save the tex, and æåøÆÅØ are still ok.
I open the text in Word Editor, then the æåøÆÅØ are now wrong.
