Issues with other jQuery modules
(Japan)
Hi,
I have noticed that using the login module on the same page as other jQuery enabled module that the module lower in the load order is effected. I did some googling and found that it is a common problem and one quite easy to fix it seems so I was hoping you could have a look into it. The fix is found here
http://www.thewebsqueeze.com/forum/Ja...
Thank you

We already have an option to disable the jQuery loading from our module, and default to the DNN framework option. In our module is a check box to enable jQuery. Assuming you are using a late version of DNN. Just disable this option.

Re: Issues with other jQuery modules

I am on DNN 5.5 and I have the jQuery load disabled on the login module but it still effects how other module's jQuery.
I am using DNNStuff jQuery tabs, I also have that module set not to load jQuery.
On a page with both jQuery tabs and Advanced login, the tabs of the tab module are not rendered when I am not logged in. After logging in however the tab module works fine. I can assume that Advanced Login is no longer trying to load any jQuery at this point thus the tab module works fine.

We already have the jQuery
jQuery.noConflict()
option in our module. The problem is caused by conflict in the other modules version of jQuery. We always recommend turning off the use of jQuery in our module and using the one version of jQuery built into dotnetnuke and enabled in the host settings.
Have you used the latest version of our module? Because there were some changes to do with this support recently in our module.

I have since changed the layout of my site and do not have any conflicting modules on the same pages, but I will keep that in mind in future layouts.
Thanks for the support

Re: Issues with other jQuery modules
(United States)
I'm running Community DNN 6.5.1 and have removed the Advanced Login Module from all pages using Mandeeps Modules Live Tabs and Live Accordion because of the jQuery conflicts. I am using the pop-up mode and liked the the module could be used by clicking on the skin Login object. However, the characteristics described above where the modules displayed properly
only
if logged in were presented on each page where the Advance Module was duplicated. Even after disabling the jQuery in
all modules
so that the DNN portal version of jQuery was loaded / used, the conflicts remained. Other than this - I like the high degree of configuration available in the module.
Unfortunate.
Scott.

What version of our module are you using. We thought we resolved this in recent releases.

Re: Issues with other jQuery modules

Has this issue been resolved? I am using version 45.03.13 and seem to be having the same problem.
When I load the AdvancedLogin Module on a page another one instance of the Announcements module disappears from the page. When the user is logged in the module reappears
Unfortunately I cannot remove the announcements module from this page as it is needed.
