Auto trigger the pop-up with a skin object
(United States)
I am fairly new to DNN and I'm trying to figure out how to trigger the feedback form using a a skin object ID. I'm using a
feedback tab plugin
that displays on the far left side of all pages via a hidden text module I placed on all pages. Can you tell me what coding I need to add to trigger the pop-up feedback form?
I also posted this on the Sowcovered support desk yesterday.
Thanks.

If you download the latest version of the module, we have some very clear instructions in the module manual that explain this process.
Let me know if you struggle, but I think you will find it all easy to use.

Thanks for providing the updated information. I was able to get the pop-up feature to work within the page. I was still unable to get it to work with my feedback tab that is located outside the page border. This tab is generated via a text module on the page, not via the skin. Is it possible to make the pop-up work when the trigger point is outside the page?
You can see the location of the feedback tab at
http://triflorida.com
. Currently it links to the static feedback form page.
Thanks!

We have noticed on the page in question that you do not have our module on the page but another one. Normally we would expect for the popup to work that you would load our module in the way mentioned in the manual for popup mode, then use "#cfd_form" without the "" to call the module to load.
