Bug when Name and Email fields are hidden and user is logged in
(Germany)
I have created a Feedback form that is visible for registered users only.
If the default fields Name and Email are set to visible everything works fine. The fields inside the form have been pre-filled. Perfect!
If these fields are hidden the email sent to me contains wrong values:
- Name: User email is shown
- Email: noreply@
is shown.
Any idea?

Normally these fields are used to populate the send from and reply email address. This is intended to allow you to simply reply to messages that come into your inbox.
You can go to the settings of the module, and override this feature so that all messages will be sent from an email address of your choice. no_reply@ for example.
The manual has details on this.

Maybe I wasn't clear enough. I need the name and email address of the registered user who is logged in and sending a message. Both fields do this job but the user can change the values. So the simple idea was to hide both fields. I don't need a static name or email address. I need values of the user account.
Alternatively read-only fields would be fine, too. But I could not find a way to configure it. Or did I miss something again?

What you are asking for is not a feature of the module. It is intended that the user can change the details if they desire. After all, it is their own contact information they are providing.
We have not engineered a way to force that information to be locked.

What a bummer! But all in all I am very pleased with this module. Spent me a lot of time...
Cheers
