Subscription List Not updating

I created a list and added an email address to it, sent out a bulk email and it worked fine.
In the opt in module, I add an email to subscribe to the same list and it says the subscription was successful, but the list is not being updated.
What am I missing?

When you say the list is not updating, are you saying that you have looked at the list and the email address is not being added, or are you saying that this did not generate an email to be sent to that address automatically after being added?

If I manually add to the list, or import a list, the email goes out with no problem. Also, if someone from that list unsubscribes, they are added to the unsubscribe list just fine.
The problem is when someone subscribes from the module page. They get the notice that they have been subscribed, but they are not added to the list, nor do they receive the mail when it is sent to those on the list.

Can you confirm that you have set the opt in list settings for that opt in list to a previously created list?
If yes, then please contact us using our contact us page to send some host login details and a url, we will be happy to check your settings and see what is going on here.

This is a production site, which hasn't been launched yet. Is there another option you use to get into the site, winvnc, webex, etc.?

There is a feature called email validation. This is an option in the opt-in module.
This feature requires that the user respond to the email validation email sent to them. This is validating the email address as valid and will then include it in the list. If they do not reply to this email in a few days, the attempt to be added to the email list will fail and they will not be added.
We have made some changes in recent version. Please update to 45.05.53 or later from our site.

I upgraded to the latest version from your site.
I created a list in the OptIn module which shows up in the BE module fine.
I checked the email validation box.
I logged out and subscribed to the list.
I get the green check and it says "Subscribed Successfully"
I get no email vaildation and the list does not get updated.
When I sent out a BE, just to test the mail server, I put a valid email in the "Additional Recipientsl" box and it went through fine so at least that part is working.
Even without the validation box checked, the list is not getting updated.
I'm trying not to get frustrated, but... Is there something simple that I'm missing?

There may be something a miss here. Just confirming that you updated the opt-in module too.
Might be time to contact us via our contact us page and provide host login. We can then take a look and see what is wrong.

Yes. I did upgrade the OptIn module also.
As I stated above, this site has not been launched yet (this module is holding that up). Can you access it winvnc, Webex, etc.?
