emails not sending to new user rolls

Hi Team
I have set up the bulk email system for test purposes.
When I send an email to the Admin roll all works fine. The email arrives with the relevant tokens populated etc.
I then added a new roll, asigned the roll to a new user with my email address and tried to send an email to that roll.
The notification email tells me 1 email has been sent but it never arrives at my email address.
Any ideas?

Sounds a lot like SMTP authentication errors.
Please have a read in the manual under SMTP or this URL
