unsubscribe process question
(United States)
The way the the unsubscribe process works seems strange to me. A separate unsubscribe list is generated, and we need to then manually reconcile that with our subscriber list. This seems awkward. Couldn't "unsubscribe" modify the list itself?

The unsubscribe token is about stopping mail to someone no matter what lists they are on. So if someone says (NO MORE) then regardless of what lists etc they are on, they will stop getting mail.
On the other hand, if you want to allow someone to unsubscribe from a list on the op-in module. Then drive them to a URL that has the module on it, where they can manage the lists that they are on.
Two different things.

I'm not understanding your response here. How do you make the unsubscribe list-specific?
Thanks,

Are you wanting the user to unsubscribe from a list that they have opted into via our opt-in module? Or some other custom list?
