Registration Email vs Authentication Email
(United States)
one of the snowcovered Q&As you have listed is "Does this module allow for a custom "registration" email to replace the text only one that DNN generates for new users?" to which you reply "YES".
Strictly speaking this is not true!
the module allows for a custom email to be sent out if Authorization is required. However if the dnn portal is setup for Public registration and no verification step is involved, an email is not sent out (!?)
We would love it if the module could send out a standard Registration email upon successful registration as well. Will it do that soon?

Re: Registration Email vs Authentication Email
(Australia)
Thanks for the question. This was the Snow answer
Answer:
We thought we answered it correctly, as the email for registration is part of the validation process. The email for notification of signup is (to us) not part of registration, but part of the greeting process. This is why we said yes to the question. Our solution for this process of welcom is to use our Bulk Emailer module to handle the welcome message for a user being added to the portal. The Bulk Emailer allows for an email or series of email messages (drip fed out) to be sent to new registered users.
Thought I would add that because the Bulk Emailer can be controlled to:
1. Deliver after a set time
2. Deliver to one or several roles
3. Deliver one or multiple email messages
4. Track who read them
5. Track who clicked any links in them
6. Deliver through one or multiple SMTP server depending on email domain etc
We believe that this module handles the process way better than just adding a custom HTML message. We also expect that people who would use the module for this process would then also enjoy the benefits of many of the other features of the module.
