registration button directs to new page
(United States)
Hello, Great module -
How do we set the "register button" to link to a registration page vs. having it pop up in next to the module? We'd like that if someone chooses to register, we direct them to a new page to register. Our registration form is 20 fields or so, so we'd like them to be on a new page and not in the pop up that this module generates.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Eric

The way to do this would be to run the module on a page like we do on the site, and not run it in popup mode. That way login and registration would be controlled on the one page. The skin control take you to that page.
If you want then to have specific instances of the module on certain pages that run in popup, you can enable them, again like we do on our Module Downloads page of our site.

I'm looking to do the same as Eric.
Is it possible to have a separate Registration page (without the Login component) or are you stuck with both?

Page 85 of the manual is your friend here. It explains a URL to call to display only one or the other.

No problem, we are also going to add a feature to the module to make the module auto load as a register display in place of the login display. That way you can use it on a default register defined page in DNN and have the module load directly into the register mode.
This will be released next week.
