Verification Code? AdvancedLogin 45.02.28
(United States)
After a user registers, my site requires you to enter a verification code the first time they login. After I implemented your Login module, I have modified the script to go to my custom registration page and their they register and now the user do not see the Verification code textbox the first time they login. So if the login button does not display the verification code textbox the first time the user cannot login to the site. How can I make this work with your login module and my custom register page? Is this possible? Or do I have to using your registration and your url email validation?

i am also facing the same challenge. Once people register, one verification code is sent via sms and they have to enter that verification code. If the verification code is validated then they should auto login. Is it achievable?

First up, do you realize that you can completely customize the registration process using our module. You can create any number of DotNetNuke custom profile items, then reference those items in our module with tokens for each. Just pointing out that while it is not going to cover 100% of all custom registrations, it will do a lot.
After that, we do already have a token called:
[login_verificationcode_label]
Display verification code prompt text when necessary.
This is referenced int he login token list. If you include that in the login form, then if a user tries to login with an account that is not validated, then the module will display the field for verification.

Thanks, that is what I was looking for in the documentation which is not really documented well to understand all of your tokens to use that for the verification code. I already have a custom registration form that collects more information then your module does with different scripts. I understand that I could create a custom registration form but not for our site but thanks again.

There is also a label token.
[login_verificationcode_label|class=advLogin_text|text=VCode]
This will put a variable token that will only display the label when the verification variable is needed.
