Customise Registration Process
(Malaysia)
In my dnn site user can be created in two ways one is admin creates them and another one is they create themselves.
both ways the information that are required for registration heavily differs. so the verification code is required when the user creates themselves not the admin.
so is it possible to use verification based on who is creating the users(when admin creates a user no verification requries but when user go to the site and creates themselves they need a verification code)?
Since advanced module can customize the registration process, is it possible to define different registration form fields for different roles? for example, in my site there is role called "fan" and there are other roles like "celebrities","agent". People in fan role visit the website and creates themselves while user for celebrities and agent is created by admin internally. both types of registration differs in terms of registration form field. Some fields are mandatory for one role which may not be mandatory for others.
Is it possible to customize the role assigning when a user is created. Say when admin creates any user he can choose role for a role dropdown and when user creates themselves (in my case only role will be creating themselves which is fan) is it possible to auto assign them to their designated role?

Re: Customise Registration Process
(Australia)
Currently the module does not allow overriding of the authorization process. We are accepting the site settings for use of the authorization. If the site is set to verified, then our module will send an email message (that can be customized) to the user with a URL that will allow them to validate their email address.
It is possible to have two instances of the module on two different pages, with two different verification messages. On an admin registration page, you could have unique user registration form that is customized for the administrator to use. When they submit the form, the validation email could say something like. (The administrator has registered you on www.domain.com We wish to verify that we typed your email address correctly. Please click this link to complete the validation of your account") OR similar.
That way you would be delivering two different experiences depending on if the registration is self administered or not.
Second question: As mentioned above. It is possible to have many instanced of the Advanced Login module on various pages of your site. You could use permission to control who can see what, and deliver unique signup processes via this method.
The module does not allow role selector at signup. It will soon (this week) be possible possible to set different instances of the module on different pages. So for example, you have a user PAID MEMBER role, and a form setup for registration of a member into that role. Then on another page, you have a FREE MEMBER role configured on another instance of the module. Depending on what role they should be added to, as to which form you use for registration.
Remember too that it is possible to configure the module to add members to multiple roles with one registration.
