Filter spam links
(Italy)
As we have all experienced, spammers are using web site forms to send junk mail containing links to their own sites and scripts.
When I build forms in Classic ASP I always include functions to strip out unwanted user input such as "<script" and "http". Also my functions usually prevent the form from being submitted until the user has taken out any link or script code. This helps prevent the spammers using the form and also helps prevent the forms from being used for SQL injection.
So my question is: What kind of data validation and user input filtering is on offer with Feedback Designer?
It would be ideal to have a way of specifying strings that are unacceptable and to prevent the form from being submitted until the offending material is removed.

As of version 45.02.07 capcha support has been a feature.

I believe this would overcome a lot of what you are referring to.

Many thanks for your reply
Yes, that will help eliminate those pesky bots, but not if done by hand (not often a problem - granted).
I don't suppose there is anyway to customise the look of the code block?
(BTW - This module is very easy to use. Many thanks)

The code is being called form the standard DNN website feature. So you will find the code samples in the website it's self.
Please hit up the DNN forums for assistance with this. We have just called on this DNN feature in our module.
