Expanding Width of your form - SOLUTION
(Australia)
I thought i'd post this to help anyone wondering about a way to modify the form items so that the form item names are wider as well as the textboxes etc.. wider without squishing everything together.
Firstly go to "Look & Feel" and from the dropdown select "Modify Layout for: Form Items Layout Text/Html".
Right click the table and select table properties. Modify the table's width from 250px (default) to 450px.
Below the text editor is an option for Width under "Form Items Height/Width". Enter a value of 300.
Click Save and you will now have a larger more expanded in width form.

This post was very helfpul.
I could not get a table properties dialog by right-clicking the table, but it was easy enough to switch to HTML view and change the table width value from 250 to 450.
IMHO, 250 is too narrow for the default.
Thanks!

Is there a way to change the width of individual text boxes?
I have one text box that only needs 250px and another one that needs 475px.

No sorry, there is no way to be able to change that.

Sounds ridiculous to me...this is something that should be addressed in the next release!

We appreciate your feedback on this, but you are actually the first person to have ever asked for this features. There are many more highly requested features that others would argue should be included first.
We will continue to improve.

That is surprising considering question can vary so much in length...
1) Name [text box]
2) Phone [text box]
3) Please provide a list of credentials [text box]
Doesn't look right.
Sounds like it would be an easy fix
Just my humble opinion

The question you asked was: " Is there a way to change the width of individual text boxes? "
The problem you discribe here is not needing an individual control of text boxes. If you widen column 1 the problem will be fixed.
Look at the online help for the mdoule at:
http://www.interactivewebs.com/feedbackdesigner
is shows a solution to the problem you have detailed above.
