Vista Gadget not Reflecting The Module Parameters - No Data
(United Kingdom)
07/03/10 18:15
The Vista Desktop Module is not displaying
Any
Data. If the URL posted into the Vista Desktop module is applied directly to a browser the page display shows the online iWeb Users Online Module
With
Data & links to download the gadgets.
I have used both the Vista & Google Desktop gadgets and neither display
any data
although the Vista gadget does display the
data legends
- ie New Today, New Yesterday, Overall etc albeit associated no data - but have noticed that if the Website URL is changed (assume incorrect) there are
no legends
only the title No data - so I must assume the URL as originally input is correct? Additionally I have noticed that the iWeb Module page displays the
Membership
section apparently ok - but never seems to display
People Online
or
Online Now
, having visited the site without logging in and checking the display as well as using a generic logged in account and still no display of
People Online
.
I have noticed the same posting to this forum, but unclear having read it several times as to what the eventual solution/answer was to correct the issue.
Comments/Advice would be appreciated.
Regards
P.A.Hargreaves
PS I tried to upload an image file to display the above, but the option was denied.

Did you go to our site for this module, and click the help menu?
Takes you here:
http://www.interactivewebs.com/userso...
there are some instructions on how to copy and place the URL that is listed in the module, into the gadget. You do not use the url at the top of the web browser, but the URL in the module that is listed.
