Issues with Redirection
(United States)
Downloaded and updated to the latest version and I have 3 separate issues: (DNN version 5.6.2)
First,
I want users that are members of a particular role to be redirected to a "home" page for that role. I also want to send a link to people that is behind a secure page and have them login and be directed to that link.
These appear to be mutually exclusive options. If I set the "Logged in users redirect to this URL" to the members home page AND I check "Ignore Redirection for Secure Pages" then what happens is that members are never redirected to their home page, but they can link to a secure page, sign in, and see that secure page.
If I uncheck the "Ignore Redirection .. " box then they are always directed to their home page.
How is this thing supposed to work? I read the docs and what the docs say and what the login module does appear to be very different things.
Second issue:
In the "Redirection List", I click "Add". The Drop down for Roles doesn't expand to allow me to select one of my roles. Now that I look a little closer, the drop down for "Optional Field to Validate" also does not expand.
Third Issue (annoyance):
If I click "Save Tab Changes" on the Redirection page it greys everything out with a "Please wait..." icon then shows another box that saves "Changes saved succesfully." When I click "OK", the whole thing stays grey with the "Please wait..." icon. The only way to recover is to refresh the whole page.

Re: Issues with Redirection

Sometimes the site settings (Admin) can be at odds with the module and redirection settings. Might be best to forward us some HOST log in details, and a couple of test account details, we can then see what is going on.
Use the contact us page on our site, make reference to the URL of this post.
