Redirect to Current Page after Login
(United States)
Hello,
I would like for when the user clicks to login they are brought back to the same page they currently are on. It would keep all paramaters of the current URL. So if they are on www.webpage.aspx?id=7&anotherid=8 and they click the login link a jquery popup window appears and they login and they are brought back to the same page of "www.webpage.aspx?id=7&anotherid=8".
I have found how you can specify a specific page to be redirected, but these are dynamic pages and will have different querystrings on each of them based on how the user got to the page, and I just need it to go back to the same exact page with the same exact URL.
Is that possible?
James

If DNN is not set with a page for login, and the module is not redirecting, then this is called click through and is default action of DNN.
The manual talks about this. Please have a read.

Re: Redirect to Current Page after Login

Hi
I have the slide down mode set and after login the user is directed to the home page regardless from the page he/she is logging from, I had a look at the manual and could not find any reference to it how to set or disable the core functionality of DNN. The core/standard log in module installed redirects to the current log in page.
kindly help

I figured it out by DISABLING the "redirect after login" (not selected) and the default "login page" (not selected) from the site settings in the admin page
