Captcha strength
(Canada)
Is it possible to increase the obscurity of the Captcha text? The current ones appear to be too simple and are unsuccessful in preventing spam registrations.

Use the google captcha feature that is built in. This is better than the DNN version, and is already included. It is industry standard.

The manual covers this quite well under the title "Recaptcha" title. Please have a look for that in the PDF manual.

I have the latest version of the module (62.06.36), but I don't see any checkbox for "Enable Recaptcha tokens" as shown on page 53 of your user manual.

The token just works if present in the from.

Re: Captcha strength

Is there a way to change the strength of the google captcha,. I implemented it and my users complained that they can never read the
text. So I put in the dnn captcha and it NEVER takes on the first try for some reason.

No sure what you mean by strength? Are you talking about size?

No not size, but how difficult it is to read. My users complain that it's too hard to tell what the letters are

Re: Captcha strength

That's kind of the point of it. They thing is they don't have to be 100% accurate to be validated.
Have a look at this:
