Hi guys,
 
After a stressful and confusing afternoon trying to get Feedback Designer working via purchasing it again to upgrade it, it appears not to have fixed anything...
 
Im still getting the error "The message was not delivered to the following address(es) - <cleaningenqs@janiking.com.au>"
 
If it were a little more descriptive, I might know what to do...
 
Any advice appreciated - my client it really upset.

We feel your pain. Actually this error is not one of ours. This is an error message from the SMTP server you have configured in DNN. We don't have any say as to what it returns.
 
If you google it you will see: http://www.google.com.au/search?sourc...
 
We do have some help in the  Feedback Designers website, and in the instructions about how to configure SMTP servers in DNN. We suggest you read it.
 
 
Let us know how you go, and what configuration error you had.

Thanks guys. Ive setup the SMTP details from the client, and it sent the test email from Host>Host Settings>SMTP fine.
 
Any other ideas?

If you read the support section, the sending of email to the host account is not a thorough test, especially if the host email account is in the same network.

Turned out theirs a bug with my DNN installation.. well.. UI bug/user error..

 

When you put the SMTP user/pass in, and press test... it says it was successful... what i didn’t notice is, it clears the password field, so you hit update with a blank password, and everything’s broken again.

 

Guess that’s the downside to using an open source product!
