Hiding Name
(India)
Hi
I need to have only the email field in a form (for sign up newsletter). So i hide the name field and showed only the email field. The display is fine, which shows only the email field. But when a user sends the mail, the mail i am receiving has the user name in it and shows anonymous as user name for it. Let me know , is it possible to not have the user name in the form? I am using the FeedbackDesigner 45.05.15
Thanks

I may have missed something here.. but you can hid fields that you don't want to show. Are you doing that.
Incidentally our bulk emailer module for DotNetNuke is an email markeding module that does exactly this. It has an opt in module that allows signup to a news letter with email address only.

Re: Hiding Name
(United States)
When the Name item is showing, it automatically populates with the name of the logged in user. However, if I hide the Name item, when the form comes through in email the value of the Name item is "Anonymous." As in, it didn't pass the name in as the user who is logged in.
Can I keep the Name hidden and have it come through in the email?
