Width of Container
(United States)
I am trying to place a feedback in the left pane which is set to 200px. The container won't go smaller that about 220px. I have tried overriding width on the three elements and with border="1" I can see they obey. I even crank the width parm down to 80px but the container stays at 220. I even made a special container skin and set it to 170 but nothing changes. It doesn't seem to be using the DNN setting from the skin. Thanks. P.S. version is new as of purchase today.

There are two places where you can modify the width of the form.
Login as admin, goto Configure Module from the dropdown.
From the Edit Menu jump in Edit Look And Feel.
In here you can scroll down to the bottom of the page and enter a width for the form items here (eg 100).
The second way of reducing width is by scrolling up to the middle texteditor "
Form Items Layout Text/Html". Jump into html mode and you'll see by default the width of the table is set to 250, change this to 150 and you'll be all set.
Hope this helps

Doesn't seem to work. That is, the width of the module itself is not changing. Am I right to say that the width of the panel (I am using the right panel) is set by the width of the widest module? And the width of the module is set by the widest elements in it? I need the panel and the module to be about 150px. I can't seem to get it smaller than 200.
