BASIC problems with module
(France)
I have spent some time trying to get a form into the right format and have come up against some very basic I omissions with this software (40.01.63):
Listbox - always selects the first item
Listbox - no way of allowing selection of multiple items
Editing an item in a check box - the system replaces a single quote with a double one
in addition to these basic errors there is little control over the formatting (I know that this is on the list of things to do, but not much good to me now...)
It is right to give you a chance to respond before I post feedback on the Snowcovered site.
Regards
Chris

Chris,
Aside from the editing a checked box replacing the single with double quotes, I would call your list feature requests and not errors.
We do listen and include features that are generated from requests.
You can see this in our list of version history here.
http://support.interactivewebs.com.au/Lists/Feedback%20Designer/AllItems.aspx
and fature requests here.
http://support.interactivewebs.com.au/Lists/Feedback%20Designer%20%20Planned%20Updates/AllItems.aspx
We are listening to you, and as you know have spent time seeking to support your original malfunction issue that you later identified as being something other than the module.
So I appreciate your comments, and opportunity to respond... and I guess my response is this.
1. You have paid around $27 for something that has literally hundreds of hours of development in it.
2. We try to clearly state what it will and will not do for you. (open and honest)
3. It does install and function well as it's intended purpose of a simple feedback module.
4. We offer support (and we have already spent more than $27 supporting you, only to find the issue was your end, with your original post I had 2 developers and myself take a look at and try to interperate your apparent issue.).
5. We listen to suggestions and feedback, and to date have not charged for any upgrades.
6. We believe what you have, is extremely good value for money.
That being said, we are listening and have take your comments onboard, and will continue to reflect on them when producing updated versions.
Thanks for your feedback todate.

Thanks for a prompt and informative reponse,
re price - This is a problem with all open source, that people have a view of the price of addins thereafter! I know that $27 covers nothing - however when you look at the model and the competition, you won't sell items if you price them too high.
Re multiple list box - I would have thought that at least the properties of the input items on the forms should be catered for, unfortunately I know that these will be some of the first things that the client will pick up on!
I can get around the quote for now I assume with a " (or rewording the phrase) - I value and do wish to support the module developers, you are vital if DNN is to flourish! Keep up the good work. +ve comment to follow on snowcovered!
Regards
Chris
