I cannot get the Auto Reply email to send. I have entered text into the auto reply box and tried multiple settings. How can I diagnose why the auto reply email is not being sent?

Two things.
1. Ensure that your SMTP server is allowing relay of messages outside the server. This usually requires authentication.

2. Enable human response mode is ticked, and the time set to something like 60 seconds.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I am still having trouble.
1. I verified with my admin that the SMTP relay should work.
2. I have ticked human response mode.
3. If it makes any difference, I am able to tick "Send Copy" and have the form sent to external addresses.
4. I still cannot get the auto email to send under any conditions. It does not go out to internal or external email addresses. I have tried many combinations of settings and checked my spam folder.
Is there a way to diagnose why it is not working? To tell whether it is being blocked or not sending at all?

Time to contact us with host login details so we can see what is going on. Make reference to this post, and include the url to the page with the module.

1. It appears that you are not running the latest version of the module.
2. It appears that the auto reply content was empty.
3. The send email to was not correct the wrong separator was used.
We updated to the latest version of the module and it appears to work. You will need to enter the email template data.
