Invalid JSON primitive: Search - Optin Mod
(Canada)
Has anyone ever seen the error "Invalid JSON primitive: Search" when updating the Optin Module.
I'm successfully using the bulk mailer (62.6.7) and optin module (45.6.5) on four different websites in the same instance of DNN (Ver 6.2.6). But now in trying add the optin mod to another site I'm receiving the error above every time I try to save my configuration changes. Additionally the changes do not save.
Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Do we have an ETA for the new version of the opt-in module?

We only have a day of work to do on it, but keep getting interrupted by shot stopping problems on other things. We hope only a day or two.

I've upgraded to the latest version (62.07.11) and I'm still receiving the same error (see above) whenever I attempt to update the Optin Module.
This module is functioning correctly on all other portals expect one. The only difference between this portal and the others is:
The module was previously installed on the others.
The skin being used by the site with the issue.
I've changed the skin and even dumbed it down to a very basic skin to see if that would resolve the issue, but with no success.
This site has been waiting to launch for over 3 weeks due to this issue. Any help assistance or guidance is urgently needed!

The hits just keep in coming!
After this latest upgrade not only is the above issue still an urgent problem but I have two new problems.
New UI
- When accessing the administration area via the new UI the only navigation menu item is the new SMS feature. I've completed all updates as outline in the manual. As we can still access the old UI and it seems to be functioning this is more annoying then anything else.
Optin Skin
-
This is a major issue!
The new optin interface is incompatible with a number of sites we are using it on. I've found the css files but how do i tell the module to use my custom css? I've looked all through the manual and cannot find this information.
We urgently require support on these issues as well as the "Invalid JSON primitive: Search" above.

Is anyone monitoring this support forum?
As an FYI we have upgraded to the latest version of the Bulk Emailer (62.07.12) which seems to have resolved the majority of our issues.
But unfortunately the problem which started this thread persists.
Each and every time we try to save configuration changes to the optin module (as stated above) we receive the error "Invalid JSON primitive: Search".
As this has been an ongoing issue since April 28th, with multiple posts to this fourm I would have expected to recieve some sort of support by now.

Sorry we missed your last, yest we do monitor.
We have loaded yet another version on the site today. However I suspect it will not solve this issue. Can you please lodge a support ticket using the tag to the left of this page. Please provide details of the error, the URL of the module and host login details so we can debut.

For "Invalid JSON primitive: Search, I have never seen the error before. I did some search and that may be data issue. Is it possible to have the host login to take a look?
