How does trial version work?
(United States)
What is the length of the trial period?
If the trial is satisfactory, how does activation work? Do I have to reinstall,or is it just a matter of entering a code received after payment?
I'm finding it very difficult to type this message. Any typing ahead, before I see the character on the screen, is lost. Is that a characteristic of this forum module, or the editor, or your site? It is very frustrating.
Thanks,
Worth

The trial is easy.
1. Register
2. Free download
3. Install full working version with time trial
4. Any time before or after trial expiry, purchase a license.
5. Enter the purchase details in the module activation system.
6. Email will be sent with the activation key (unique for the domain)
7. Throw that activation key in your install, and this will remove the trial banner.
That is really strange comment about the typing. We use the Cute Editor text.html module, and have had no reports of this type of thing. What browser do you use?

You didn't answer the question about the length of the trial. Everything else sounds fine, I'll give it a shot.
When I posted yesterday, I was connected with a Dell laptop running Vista, IE7 browser.
Today I am not experiencing the problem, I'm connected with a different Dell laptop running XP, IE7 browser.
I'll try another post later today, when I'm at the office on the Vista laptop.
Thanks,
Worth

The trial is different for different modules. It is kind of obvious what it is after you install (you will see what I mean).
Vista should not be the issue, we all use Vista 64 bit with IE7 (and other browsers) so I don't believe that is the cause (no matter how much I would like to point at Microsoft and their lame Vista software). You were not in some funny keyboard lock mode on the laptop were you?
If you use vista, you may want to take a look at our Vista Gadget for DotNetNuke. We have sold a relatively small number of these modules, yet I find it one of the best tools I use on my desktop. I am kind of confused by how little interest there has been! Anyway, check it out!
