Categories with Icons: Announcements can be categorized into categories, sub categories and sub sub categories This can allow you to keep announcements in either a general area or a very specific area for the viewers of your site. We have included this much requested feature of skinning of the module. The entire look and feel can be changed to work with your website. Easy to manage and easy to replicate into categories.
Easy Menu for Management: Our super simple menu system allows users to easily manage announcements within the tool. Tooltips are available within the management tool to make life even easier with our system when you're first starting out.
Print View: Printer friendly view options are available to allow users to quickly and easily print off announcements that are posted to your site to keep a hard copy of the informaiton you are providing to your visitors.
Auto Archiving: Set and forget, once your announcements have served their purpose and are just taking up valuable screen realestate the auto archive functionality comes in to play. Simply set an age limit for your announcements and they will be automatically moved to the archive when their life span expires.
Auto Delete: Auto Delete Announcements that have moved from the public area into the Archive Area are automatically deleted from the site (including attachments) once the "Delete Date" is reached. This date is automatically set for a specific time after the archive date, and like the archive date, can be manually set to any date.
Small PA File: Small and Fast Even though the module is feature rich, we have worked hard to keep the ASP.NET 2 code to a minimum. This along with some intelligent by designing concepts means the module will run fast on DNN. A change of view will not require a refresh to the entire page.
Remove & Turn Off Categories: Again another requested feature, the category menu can be removed from view. Leaving only a clean announcement area visible.
