Is there a token that can be put in an email so that it will bring the subscriber to his "View/Manage Subscription" page, for opting-in or out of lists individually? I only see a token to "Unsubscribe to everything". If such a token is not available, what's the proper URL to construct to do so?
TIA, Bob
I see...but that's a cumbersome process for the end user. If I understand correctly, In the emails I send out as part of my bulk mailings, I could provide a simple generic URL back to the page corresponding to where I've places the "Opt-in" module/List Subscription". The user clicks on the link in the email he has just received, which brings him to the Opt-in module page where he has to now re-enter his email address, wait for yet another email, which then once again takes him back to the site, where he only now is able to update/manage his subscription, (and only a limited way eg, he can't even change his name).
Other systems are far more streamlined in that they provide the update link directly in the original email because the recipient is inherently already validated. Just my two cents opinion, but this seems like a very useful feature missing from an otherwise superior product in this space. Without it, I can't really use it for my mailing lists.
